It is with great honor that we welcome you to Texas Wesleyan University. Our mission within the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs is to provide students and their families with experiences that prepare them for a successful transition to university life. Whether it be through fostering personal growth, engaging in intensive learning, or building meaningful connections with peers, faculty, or staff alike, the time is now!
Listed next are the two experiences that have been etched in stone to kick off your time with us before your first day of classes:
REGISTRATION DAY
Registration Day could easily be considered a One-Stop Shop for incoming students. The purpose is to provide students with the opportunity to meet current student leaders, register for classes, meet their advisors, set up housing (should they need it), and also get all of their financial responsibilities in order.
Our goal here at TXWES is to make our processes as seamless as possible for our students so their transition is smooth once the academic year starts! Want to learn more? Click Below!
RAM CAMP
Are you looking for Connections, Competition, and Comradery? Welcome to Ram Camp! Each year new students are paired in groups with current student leaders to not only foster a sense of community but also get acclimated to the Ram way of life. While Reg Day deals with the business side of being becoming a student, Ram Camp focuses on the fun aspect. Are you ready to let the inner Ram free?!
